Godly Despair?

When you are at your worst, when your prayers seem to go nowhere, or when you can’t even pray, does that prevent you from trusting God? Can there be any such thing as godly despair? We will consider what might be called godly despair. Then we’ll examine Eliphaz’s recommended solution to despair and compare that with the Gospel answer.
