Treacherous Friends
As we come to our 4th message in the story of Job, we will focus on vs 14, For the despairing man (that’s Job) there should be kindness from his friends . . . I’ve titled this message Treacherous Friends which may be a little too strong because Job’s friends weren’t trying to hurt or take advantage of him; however, the effect of their help actually added to Job’s trials. Hopefully, from this interaction among friends, we can learn how we might better show friendship to others. The singing of songs today like What a Friend we Have in Jesus should have alerted you to our topic of Godly Friendship.
