The Godly Life is the Repentant Life

Have you ever wondered what it looks like to live in God’s Kingdom? What is His Kingdom like? How do I enter it? How do I grow in God’s kingdom? Jesus’s parables serve as windows into His Kingdom for us to grow in our faith. Normally, we will go through a book of the Bible verse by verse; however, I’m excited to begin a series going through Jesus’s Parables! Everyone loves a good story. Some of my favorite moments are when family and friends gather to share stories! Well, Jesus told stories of sorts called parables. Pastor James Montgomery Boice defines a parable as this: “A parable is a story taken from real life or a real life situation from which a moral or spiritual truth is drawn.” Join us this Sunday to begin this Kingdom Parables series together!
