Suffering, Wild Animals, and God

We come today to the happy ending to Job’s trials. I suspect we are all ready for it, but let me warn you that the happy ending comes prior to any restoration to health. The anguish of Job’s soul before God is relieved, but as far as we can tell, he is still a physical wretch. Think about that as we go though this resolution to Job’s anguished suffering. Is it possible for us to be happy in the midst of misery and pain? Think about that as we see how God brings peace to Job’s soul.
