Jenga Towers

Passage: Genesis 10:1-32; 11:1-9
Service Type:

The game Jenga is a fun game where  you take away blocks from a tower and add it to the top! However, as you build the tower upwards,  over time, the tower begins to get more and more unstable. Finally, the one who causes the tower to fall over is the loser! It’s a game where the higher you build, the more of a chance the tower will fall. In our passage this Sunday we meet a different kind of tower built for other reasons. Men attempt to do things their way and not God’s way by building a tower for their own glory and not God’s. Have you ever tried to do things your way and not God’s way? We all have during different times in our life. What  do you think the fate of this tower will be? What’s the heart behind building a tower like this? How will God respond? And how do we see our sin and our savior here? Come join us and see!
