He Spreads a Feast Before Me

God spreads a feast before us, providing for our well-being, even in the physical realm of His creation.  We come to the grand finale of the Psalter, full of praise, wonder, and joy for who God is and what He has done.  This psalm recalls the return from Exile and the Restoration, speaking to us afresh of renewal and consequent joyful praise and peaceful well-being.  As we prepare to come to the Lord’s Table, we ask two questions of this psalm (1) How has God revealed His care for us in the physical realm? (2) How must we respond to His goodness to us?
