Come Quickly, Lord Jesus

Some of the last words of the Bible in Revelation say this, "He who testifies to these things says, Surely I am coming soon. Amen, Come Lord Jesus!" (Rev 22:20). Christians for thousands of years have confessed The Apostles Creed professing, Jesus will come to Judge the Living and the dead. Also, the Westminster Confession of faith ends this way, "we may always be watchful, because we do not know what hour the Lord will come and we may always be prepared to say “Come, Lord Jesus. Come quickly. Amen.”

Do you hear that attitude of anticipation there… Come, Lord Jesus.. come quickly! As christians we look forward to Jesus coming back to make all things right! This Sunday our parable will be on the 10 virgins in Matthew 25 showing us how to cultivate an eager and hopeful heart as we joyfully anticipate our Lord's return.
